About Valentus
Boat repair, boatbuilding and marine fabrication specialist based in Hastings, Victoria, serving boat owners across the Mornington Peninsula.
Valentus was founded by Patrick, and his background in offshore powerboat racing and advanced composite manufacturing shapes every job that comes through our Hastings workshop.
Patrick built and raced Valentus’s first hull, and it won the 2024 Supersports 65 class in the Offshore Superboat Championship. That boat set the standard for everything we’ve done since: if our work holds up at 65 mph offshore, it will hold up for you.
That racing-developed standard now goes into every repair and build we take on.
Our services include structural fibreglass and composite repairs, insurance repair work, gelcoat and finish restoration, moulding and custom marine fabrication. We assess each boat properly, explain the right approach in plain language, and choose the materials and methods to suit how the boat is actually used.
Performance, strength and precision are at the core of the Valentus name. They’re why boat owners across Hastings and the Mornington Peninsula trust us to do the job properly the first time.
Our mission
To build high-performance powerboats that are as strong as they are fast, using advanced composite methods and design developed on the race course.
We use only the right materials for the job, such as carbon fibre, epoxy and high-performance foam cores. You will work directly with Patrick from the first conversation to the final finish, and you’re welcome in our Hastings workshop at any stage to see your boat take shape.
